Well 9 Water Quality

The first week in November the District began an additional treatment process at Well #9 to reduce the sulfur taste and odor from this source. We have been working on this project since 2018 with the Department of Health and a local engineering firm which specializes in water chemistry. Lake Meridian Water District is proud to say that there is a substantial reduction in the taste and odor from this source.

Many hours went into this project, and we call it a success. The District is thankful for our dedicated staff and some of the best water chemistry engineers in the world.
